Mylar® WOL is a biaxially oriented white polyester (PET) film with an amorphous polyester heat seal layer on one side. It is designed to give a peelable seal to a wide range of materials including itself, APET, CPET, PETG, polyester coated board, polycarbonate, and PVC. Mylar® WOL is designed to be self-venting and offers a barrier to visible and UV light. |
Mylar® WOL can be used on its own as a single web or as part of a laminate in a wide range of lidding applications, providing reliable sealing and peeling performance. The film is often used for applications where easy opening and opacity are required.
